How is the price calculated? Are there discounts?

One service for one person is US$100, including the completion report and amulet shipping. Within one order, every service after the first is half price, and three or more people in one order takes 20% off the whole order. Both discounts stack automatically; up to 4 people and 4 services per order.

Who actually goes to the temple?

A person bobi works with in Taiwan goes to the temple, registers, pays the temple's fee, and carries the offering past the incense burner, following that temple's own procedure. bobi is a concierge service, not a temple.

How do I know the ritual was really carried out?

After every order you receive completion photos, a short video of the incense-burner pass, the temple receipt or on-site record, and a written completion report.

What happens after I pay?

bobi emails you within 2 business days to confirm each recipient's name, birth details and wishes, plus any preferred temple or date. Only then is the visit arranged, and the report follows once it's done.

Why is a birth date needed? Is the information safe?

Temples generally need a name and date of birth to write the petition or register a lamp. It is used only to arrange the ritual ordered, shared only with the local partner carrying it out.

Payment happens on Stripe's own encrypted page; bobi never sees or stores card numbers. The service is provided by La Vie International Inc., a US-registered company.

Can an order be cancelled or refunded?

Before the partner has gone to the temple, orders can be cancelled for a full refund. Once the ritual has been performed the service has been delivered and cannot be refunded.

Can I request a specific temple or date?

Yes — a preferred temple and date can be requested, subject to that temple's hours and rules. If it can't be matched, bobi tells you before anything is arranged.

Do I need to make a thanksgiving offering after the blessing?

Not necessarily. Most blessing services are complete once the ceremony has been performed. However, if you made a personal vow to the deity and your wish has been fulfilled, it is traditional to return to the temple to give thanks. If you cannot visit in person, bobi can arrange a thanksgiving offering on your behalf.

Will I receive an amulet or keepsake?

It depends on what that temple provides — not every temple or ritual includes one. Amulets are small, so their shipping is already covered by the fee; larger gifts are confirmed and shipped at cost after completion.

Can someone overseas arrange this for family in Taiwan?

Yes — that's most of bobi's customers. It doesn't matter where the recipient lives; only their name and birth details are needed.

What if the service I want isn't listed?

Special requests are welcome — concert-ticket luck, fertility, cleansing and fortune renewal, pet blessing lamps, returning thanks, group orders, and specific temples. The one exception is asking Yue Lao for a match, which must be done in person, so bobi doesn't offer it.

Is the outcome guaranteed?

No. Folk rituals can't guarantee wealth, health, or any particular outcome. What bobi promises is care with every detail and an honest account of what happened at the temple.

This Privacy Policy describes how La Vie International Inc. ("La Vie," "bobi," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information in connection with your use of the website at bobi.ing and related services (collectively, the "Services"). It is written to meet the disclosure requirements of the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, "CCPA"), and applies to all visitors regardless of location.

1. Information We Collect

A. Information collected automatically. When you visit our Services, we and our analytics providers may automatically collect identifiers such as your IP address and device identifiers; internet or network activity information, including browser type, pages viewed, and referring URLs; and approximate geolocation derived from your IP address. This is collected primarily through Google Analytics — see Section 5 for details and your choices.

B. Information collected through payment processing. When you book a service through our Stripe-hosted payment page, Stripe collects your name, email address, billing address, and payment card information directly. We do not directly collect or store your payment card details. We receive limited order information from Stripe, such as your name, email, and the service purchased, in order to fulfill your order.

C. Information you provide directly. After a booking, our team may contact you — by email, LINE, or another method you provide — to collect information necessary to arrange your requested ritual, such as the full name, date of birth, and specific wishes of the person the blessing is for. This is collected directly from you during that correspondence, not automatically through this website.

D. The blessing phrase generator. This tool assembles phrases from a fixed library held in the page itself; it does not use artificial intelligence and makes no network requests. Any name or wish text you enter is used only to compose your phrase in your browser, and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers.

We do not knowingly collect government identification numbers, precise geolocation, or health information. Date of birth collected under Section 1C is used solely to arrange the requested ritual and is not used to infer or store any protected characteristic.

2. How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information to provide and fulfill the Services you request, including arranging temple rituals and shipping any associated items; to communicate with you about your order; to process payments and prevent fraud; to analyze and improve the Services through aggregated, de-identified analytics; and to comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. How We Share Personal Information

We share personal information with: payment processors (Stripe, Inc.), to process payments; local service providers in Taiwan who physically execute the requested ritual and receive only the information necessary to do so; analytics providers (Google Analytics), who receive the automatically-collected usage data described in Section 1A; and legal or safety authorities, where required by law or necessary to protect our rights or any person's safety.

We do not sell personal information for money. Under the CCPA's broad definition, however, our use of analytics cookies may be considered "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out at any time — see Section 6.

4. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including completing your order, maintaining business records, and meeting legal or accounting obligations. Payment information is retained by Stripe under Stripe's own retention practices.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies, such as browser local storage, for essential functions like remembering your language preference, and for analytics via Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our Services. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can decline non-essential cookies through the banner presented on your first visit. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid opt-out request under the CCPA.

6. Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have the right to: know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we've collected, and the sources, purposes, and third parties involved; delete personal information we've collected from you, subject to certain exceptions; correct inaccurate personal information; opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (we do not sell personal information for money — to opt out of sharing for cross-context advertising, decline non-essential cookies in our banner or contact us below); have us limit use of sensitive personal information beyond what's necessary to provide the Services; and not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise these rights, contact us using the information in Section 10. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and you may designate an authorized agent to act on your behalf.

7. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision, and material changes will be reflected on this page.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website at bobi.ing and the services offered by La Vie International Inc. ("La Vie," "bobi," "we," "us," or "our") (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services or booking a ritual through us, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our Services

bobi is a concierge service that arranges Taiwanese temple ritual services on your behalf. We are not a temple, religious institution, or clergy. All rituals are performed by independent local partners according to each temple's own procedures and customs.

Folk religious rituals do not guarantee any specific outcome, including but not limited to health, wealth, career, or romantic outcomes. Any description of a ritual's purpose on our Services reflects traditional belief and intent, not a promise of results.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to book a service through bobi.

3. Booking and Payment

Payments are processed through Stripe, our third-party payment processor; submitting payment means you also agree to Stripe's own terms. Prices are as displayed at the time of booking, and we reserve the right to correct pricing errors. After payment, we will contact you to confirm ritual details — such as recipient name, date of birth, and specific wishes — and the target temple and timing. Any turnaround estimate we provide is our best estimate, depends on temple availability and scheduling, and is not a guaranteed delivery date.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

You may request a cancellation before your local partner has visited the temple on your behalf. Once the ritual has been performed, the service has been rendered and is non-refundable. To request a cancellation, contact us as soon as possible using the information in Section 12. Shipping fees for physical items, such as amulets, are non-refundable once an item has shipped.

5. Amulets, Gifts, and Shipping

Whether a temple provides an amulet or gift for a given ritual depends on that temple's own practice; not every ritual includes a physical item. Shipping for small items such as amulets is included in the service fee. Gifts vary in contents, size, and weight by temple and cannot be generalized; where you would like a gift shipped, we will confirm its contents after the ritual, estimate the shipping cost, and arrange delivery billed at actual shipping cost.

6. Your Conduct

You agree not to use the Services for any unlawful purpose; attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Services; provide false information about a ritual recipient with intent to defraud; or use the blessing phrase generator to produce content that is unlawful, harassing, or infringing.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Services — including text, graphics, logos, and the bobi name and marks — is owned by La Vie International Inc. or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content without our prior written consent.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY RITUAL WILL RESULT IN ANY PARTICULAR OUTCOME.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LA VIE INTERNATIONAL INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, except where preempted by federal law. Any dispute arising out of these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
